The idea

A Paris cocktail, our Montmartre kitchen

Berchoux extends its anti-waste canteen in the 18th all the way to your event. We build an assortment of sharing bites from the morning market, designed to be enjoyed standing, one mouthful at a time.

Launch, afterwork, birthday or company party: you give us the date, the headcount and the venue, and we set out a seasonal grazing cocktail, generous and without overproduction.

How it works

The making of a successful grazing cocktail

A grazing cocktail is not just an aperitif: it is a real standing meal, paced by bites that stand on their own. Here is what we settle with you before the day.

01

The right volume

We size the number of bites per guest to the time and length of the event: a few for an afterwork, a full assortment when the cocktail replaces dinner.

02

Bites that stand up

Every bite is eaten in one or two goes, with no cutlery or bulky plate, so your guests can move around and chat, glass in hand.

03

The anti-waste approach

We cook what the market offers in the morning and turn unsold produce into the dish of the day. Reduced packaging, our tupperware and specialty bread from Bun's Bakery.

04

Venue and logistics

Offices, meeting room or a private venue: we adapt the assortment to your headcount and your space, across Paris and the near suburbs.

Anti-waste to the glass

01

Market-led cooking

We cook the morning's produce and turn unsold food into the dish of the day rather than binning it. What reaches your cocktail was planned, not overproduced.

02

Genuinely homemade

Every bite is prepared at the restaurant, by hand, with no industrial recipe and no reheated piece — the same cooking we serve in Montmartre.

03

Reduced packaging

Limited containers, our tupperware and specialty bread from Bun's Bakery: the zero-waste logic carries through to your standing table.

The sharing bites

Market bites, signed by a Michelin-starred chef

Julie Berchoux spent thirty years in Michelin-starred kitchens, alongside houses such as Robuchon, Ducasse, Taillevent and Fauchon, before opening her Montmartre canteen.

That craft is what composes your sharing bites: flexitarian cooking, demanding on produce and easy to enjoy standing, from seasonal savoury to homemade carrot cake.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you organise your grazing cocktails?

Across Paris and the near suburbs, within roughly 5 km of our restaurant in the 18th arrondissement, in Montmartre. Paris 9, Pigalle, Batignolles, Clichy and Saint-Ouen are within our usual area.

Grazing cocktail or buffet: what's the difference?

A grazing cocktail relies on sharing bites eaten standing that keep guests mobile, while a buffet suits convivial lunches where guests help themselves. We compose both in the same market-led kitchen.

How many bites should I plan per person?

It depends on the time and length of the event: a few bites are enough for an afterwork, while a cocktail that replaces dinner calls for a fuller assortment. We settle the volume together based on your format.

Do you offer vegetarian and flexitarian options?

Yes. Our cooking is flexitarian by nature: seasonal vegetables at the front, meat and fish as a side. We are happy to compose an entirely vegetarian cocktail.

How far in advance should I order?

Since we cook from the morning market, it is best to reach out a few days ahead to lock in the date, the headcount and the assortment. For larger events, allow more lead time.
