A daily menu that reflects our neighbourhood cooking
Our daily menu extends in Montmartre the cooking we serve every lunchtime at the Berchoux restaurant. The dish of the day is prepared on site, from produce chosen in the morning at the market, in the same homemade spirit as the rest of our menu. This neighbourhood logic gives the daily menu its character: simple, generous cooking, true to a genuine Parisian table, with no ready-made recipes or industrial production.
This standard comes from the journey of chef Julie Berchoux, who spent thirty years in Michelin-starred kitchens alongside houses such as Robuchon, Ducasse, Taillevent and Fauchon. Today she puts that know-how at the service of accessible flexitarian cooking, found in the daily menu just as in our main menu. Having our daily menu in Montmartre means enjoying real culinary craft in a format designed for lunch.
A daily menu designed against food waste
Since 2020, Berchoux has operated as a flexitarian, anti-waste restaurant: we cook what the market offers in the morning, and unsold produce becomes the dish of the day rather than being thrown away. The daily menu therefore changes with the seasons and the deliveries, which you can preview on our Instagram. You never find exactly the same plate from one day to the next, and that is precisely what makes it interesting.
This commitment continues through concrete everyday gestures: less packaging thanks to our reusable tubs, a one-euro book library and speciality bread supplied by Bun's Bakery. Choosing our daily menu in Montmartre therefore means turning to a genuine neighbourhood table, one that thinks as much about what it cooks as about how it limits its waste.
Our daily menu is part of a commitment to fighting food waste, an issue detailed by ADEME.
