The idea

Our Montmartre kitchen, a step from Batignolles

Berchoux extends its anti-waste canteen in the 18th all the way to your events in Batignolles. Our workshop, just a few streets away, starts each morning at the market: the day's produce composes your dishes, in the right quantity, without overproducing.

Team lunch on rue des Dames, a birthday by the square, an office reception or a family meal: you give us the date, the headcount and the venue, and we compose a seasonal menu, generous and waste-free.

From market to your table, without loss

An honest neighbourhood caterer comes down to a few habits held on every order, from buying to plating. Here is how we work for your events in Batignolles.

01

The morning market

We buy fresh and short, as close as possible to the number of guests. The menu is written after the market, not before: the day's produce decides.

02

The right quantities

We size each service to real numbers, without overproducing. Whatever is left after an event is reworked, never binned on principle.

03

Genuinely homemade

Everything is prepared in Montmartre, by hand, with no industrial tray and no reheated dish. The same cooking we serve at the restaurant.

04

Local delivery

Batignolles is minutes from our workshop: limited containers, our tupperware and specialty bread from Bun's Bakery, all the way to your table.

Cooking in season

We cook what grows at the right moment: seasonal vegetables at the front, meat and fish alongside, and a supply chain kept as short as possible.

In tune with the seasons

We cook what grows at the right time: seasonal vegetables at the front, tastier, cheaper, and far more sober on energy than imported off-season produce.

Flexitarian by nature

Plants lead the way, meat and fish come alongside. A generous buffet that lowers the footprint of the plate without ever sacrificing flavour.

A short supply chain

Local producers and artisans, like the bread from Bun's Bakery: direct links that cut out middlemen, miles and packaging.

Thirty years of stars, serving your tables

RobuchonDucasseTailleventFauchon

Julie Berchoux spent thirty years in Michelin-starred kitchens, alongside houses such as Robuchon, Ducasse, Taillevent and Fauchon, before opening her Montmartre canteen.

That rigour is what she brings to your events: the same care for produce as in fine dining, applied to an honest, seasonal, waste-free neighbourhood caterer.

Frequently asked questions

Do you really deliver to Batignolles?

Yes. Our workshop is at 16 rue de la Fontaine du But, in the 18th, minutes from Batignolles. The neighbourhood, the 17th, the Épinettes and Clichy are in our usual area, within roughly 5 km of the restaurant.

Buffet or grazing cocktail: which to choose?

A buffet suits convivial lunches where guests help themselves, while a grazing cocktail relies on small sharing bites that keep guests standing and mobile. We compose both in the same market-led kitchen.

How far in advance should I order?

Since we cook from the morning market, it's best to contact us a few days ahead to settle the date, the headcount and the menu. For larger events, allow more time.

Do you offer vegetarian and flexitarian options?

Yes. Our cooking is flexitarian by nature: seasonal vegetables at the front, meat and fish alongside. We're glad to compose an entirely vegetarian buffet or cocktail.

What makes your catering anti-waste?

We cook what the market offers, in the right quantity, turn unsold produce into the next day's dish and limit packaging, with no overproduction and no needless single-use trays.
